Principal’s Reports:
Terri Lemos, Munson Primary: Purchased playground equipment for each classroom, color coded by class. Red Ribbon week, October 24th through October 31st. Fall party October 28, not October 31, 2011.
Raquel Charbonneau, Grade School: NWEA testing this week. New students at Grade School, encourage your child to make friends. Spent $30.33 on classroom paint supplies; $63.92 Classroom communication folders; 272.63 THUMBS UP awards; 2218.50 school tee shirts. Red Ribbon week, October 24th through October 31st.
Committee Reports:
Tape Membership: 155 members to date. Open enrollment through the year.
Directory: Ellen Young motion to spend no more than $600.00; Elizabeth Thornton seconded; Passed.
Room Parents: Need room parents for the following rooms Kincaid pm; McCarty; Entwisle; Wehrheim; Headrick
T-Shirt Orders: Tee shirts, long sleeve 563 altogether sold. 2nd sale starts November end week before Thanksgiving, delivery by December 16 for Christmas.
Fundraisers: Limo ride, Friday, November 11, 2011. Need volunteers, at each school, in limo and at McDonalds. Approximately $53,000.00 raised. Motioned by Ellen Young; Seconded by Elizabeth Thornton; unanimously passed. Distribution October 20. Volunteers to pass out stuff, 3pm to 6pm on same date.
Box Tops for Education: Prizes are going out. New quarter starts on the 15th. First party is milk & cookies. 25 = candy; 50 ice cream 75 10 ox cherry berry; 100 free kids fettuccine/spaghetti at Calabrones.
Box Top Carnival: Notes per text from Stephanie Bayliff – came in under budget. Thank you for all your help!!!
Scholastic Book Fair: LAFF night, Monday, October 10; 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Monday night volunteer for LAFF night. Tuesday & Thursday night, all day Friday.
New Business:
