Classroom Parents Still Needed

As the Fall Parties draw ever near, we still have about 10 classrooms that still need "Room Parents". All that you will responsible for is contacting the other parents in the room (you can send a note home with the students) in order to organize the 3 classroom parties throughout the school year. Currently, all rooms have classroom helpers (yay!) but these classes still need a leader:
Hankins PM
S Slayton
Hansel
McCarty
Bogner
Cunningham
Cuthbertson
Entwisle
Ramsey
Canfield
Cline
Wehrheim
teacher and kids Pictures, Images and Photos
If your student's teacher is listed and you would like to help out, please email Gayra at gwright70@cox.net . If your student's class already has a room parent but you would be willing to help out a different teacher listed above.. THANK YOU!!! We have had several people this year who have stepped up to support our teachers and we are so grateful. Please email Gayra with any questions.

Wildcat Sweatshirts and October Sale

We have two 3X Wildcat Sweatshirts left from the last t-shirt sale. Both have the green logo on the back and are $17. If you are interested in one, email Ellen at 5-youngs@cox.net. There will be another t-shirt sale at the end of October but if you just can't wait to show some Wildcat pride... give Ellen a jingle!

First TAPE meeting of the new school year!

We've only been in school for two weeks now, and it amazes me how quickly the kids have fallen right back into the old routine! (Except the part where we have to get out of bed in the morning!)
The teachers are off to a great start for the 2009-2010 school year and so is TAPE! Our first meeting of the school year will be on Thursday September 3 at 7:00 pm in the Munson Primary School Library.
This first meeting is a great opportunity to come by and meet the Board members, ask questions, sign up as a head room parent or helper for class parties and find out about all the other ways to volunteer in your child's school!
We will also be discussing plans to hold a Box Top Carnival. We are hoping to hold this event in early October and plan to have lots of carnival booths with prizes. The "ticket" for each booth will be a General Mills Box Top, so start saving them now! (Each box top collected is redeemed as cash for our school so we hope to bring in buckets full of them and have a fun FREE family night at the same time!)
So mark your calendar to attend the meeting- and have fun with us this year!
(If you cannot attend the meeting or have any other questions, please give me a call- I would love to chat with you!)

Old Settler's Days was a hit!

Thank you to everyone who helped make T.A.P.E.'s role in Old Settler's Day a huge success! Thank you also to all of the students and families who cheered us on in the parade and also the window display contest. Go Wildcats!!

Here is a photo of our "award winning" window Display

Did you see the black truck with the big T.A.P.E. banner and white paw prints? Green, white and pink balloons? The new t-shirts? Smiling Wildcats? We had so much fun representing T.A.P.E. by walking in the parade! We gave out tons of candy and brochures and had lots of fun waving to classmates and friends.

Here's a group shot from that morning:
