Board Members Present: President, Heather Leggett; VP of Munson, Lynzee Backus; VP of the Grade School, Erin Manning; Secretary, Gayra Wright, Treasurer, Lisa Moe.

Approval of Minutes: Presented by: Heather Leggett. Motion to approve minutes as amended made by: Stephanie Bayliff. Seconded by: Marie Moore.

Treasurer’s Report: Presented by: Lisa Moe. Motion to approve made by: Stephanie Bayliff. Seconded by: Elizabeth Thornton.

Principal’s Reports:

Terri Lemos, Munson Primary: Staff said thank you for conference meals. Bought 6 banners with school rules for the hallways. Thank you for help at school pictures. November 16, 2011 is Thanksgiving Dinner at MPS with parents. Note to be sent home next week.

Raquel Charbonneau, Grade School: Staff said thank you for conference meals. Only money spent was on conference dinners. Red Ribbon week was fun, kids loved it. Thanksgiving Dinner on November 16, 2011 at MGS with parents. Note sent home this week.

Committee Reports:

Directory: They are done and delivered.

Room Parents: Everything went great with Fall parties. Still need a couple 5th grade room parents.

T-Shirt Orders: Second order, due date December 1, Orders turned in by December 5. To be delivered by December 18.

Fundraisers: $9,425.06 donated to each school from sales! Pick up/Delivery went very well. Contract for spring fundraiser signed with River City.

Box Tops for Education: Most recent submission to box tops = MPS - $851.00 MGS - $743.40

Penguin Patch: To be held Wednesday, November 30; Friday, December 2 and Saturday, December 3. Committee head will be seeking volunteers soon.

Yearbook: This year the cost to purchase yearbooks from Lifetouch will be $12.32 for each book. Yearbooks will go on sale beginning in January. We are holding another food drive to choose the yearbook cover. The top three voted on by the members at this meeting will be attached to a bin. The voting will be the week of November 14. Motion by Stephanie Bayliff to charge $13.00 for each book. Seconded by Elizabeth Thornton. Vote did NOT pass. Motion made by Stephanie Bayliff to charge $12.00 for each book. Seconded by Elizabeth Thornton. Passed unanimously.

Old Business:

Storage Shed - Motion for new storage building that was previously approved is now null and void unless a new motion is brought made by Jim Webb. Seconded by Lacie Belvins. Passed unanimously.

New Business:

Limo Ride – 62 students earned a limo ride to lunch. Starting at 10:30 p.m. cycled through to 1:45 p.m. Schedule set up with Principals. Volunteers needed.

New Fundraisers – Cherry Berry has offered to do fundraiser night. Thoughts that it might be conflict for MPS Sonic night. Will pass the information to MGS. Pizza Hut has also offered to do a fundraiser night.
