WOW! Summer is almost over!

You know summer is almost over when you walk into Wal-Mart or Target and the first things you see are bins of school supplies!

(I have to say I'm a sucker for a new box of fresh, sharp crayons!)

TAPE Board
Now, let me introduce myself. My name is Stephanie Bayliff and I am the TAPE President for the 2009- 2010 school year.

We have a really incredible group of people on the Board this year-

Vice President of Munson - Elizabeth Thornton

Vice President of the Grade School- Gayra Wright

Secretary- Erin Manning

Treasurer- Marie Moore

Not to mention all of the volunteers that are already working on enrollment and getting the t-shirts ready for our annual Wildcat shirt sale.

( Yes, you read that right- ENROLLMENT!! ALREADY!)

It seems so soon! But the first day of school is August 17!

Enrollment
Enrollment dates for Munson and the Grade School are as follows:

Tuesday August 4 12:00 - 7:00 pm

Wednesday August 5 12:00 - 7:00 pm

Thursday August 6 8:00 - 3:00 pm

Volunteers are needed to help out with enrollment at both schools for each of the three days. If you would like to volunteer for even as little as one hour we would love to hear from you!

Meetings
TAPE meetings this year will be held on the first Thursday night of each month at 7:00 pm.The first meeting to kick off the new school year will be held on September 3 in the library at Munson Primary School. We will continue to meet there until Christmas break and then we will meet at the Grade School Library for the remainder of the year.

Membership

Don't forget to sign up for TAPE membership at enrollment! Your $5.00 family membership also includes a free directory of the students at both schools. (And comes in REALLY handy when planning classroom parties and birthday parties for your kids!)

There are lots of volunteer opportunities with TAPE both inside the classrooms and out. Be sure to look over the sign up sheet and mark any committees you may have an interest in- or mark the general volunteer section and we can find lots of other ways that you can get involved with your school but not commit lots of time for a specific committee.
